I don't know where you located. I will assume your home state, Tractor Supply is among the cheapest and good service past years.

Just about any place that can fill a propane tank (not the exchanges like Home Depot or Lowes but a real propane place).

Many campgrounds will do it as well.

For us our storage lot has a propane fill, and nearby is a rent all place that fills propane as well (both of which has filled our Axis).

Any RV Dealer will fill propane. What Indiana Town do you live in?

Many campgrounds will fill you tank even without staying there! We have had good luck with Good Sam campgrounds filling our propane tank.

I wasn't aware that Tractor Supply Stores could fill them; Thanks for the info!

Ours is 14.5 miles from the house, and there's a Dunkin' Donuts right next door to it!

A lot of equipment rental places can fill your propane tank. I fill mine, either at campgrounds, or an RV repair place near when I store the RV.

I installed a valve adapter, pre regulator, post shut off valve, on our propane system.
The part will allow a 20 lb bottle (like one from a gas grill), or even a burn-zo-matic size bottle (propane torch), to attach either one to the RV.
If you want to limit on board usage draws once camped, you just hook it up and turn it on (then turn off on board supply valve), it attaches post shut off of the on-board supply.
It could also serve as an emergency hook up, you just cannot use it moving down the road and it is not a way to refill the onboard tank.
You-tube videos to explain are abundant.

Same here...it's called "Extend-A-Stay" and it's a great backup system. I carry a 20# bottle for my portable grill and it also serves as an emergency back-up in case I run out of gas or get super low.
