Rt 30 Across Ohio

All, is Route 30 across Ohio a nice road to RV on?......we want to stay off of I-90 and I-70. If so are there any campgrounds that you would recommend along this route?
Thanks in advance

Use Google's street view and pick some spots to see if it is any good.

I haven't been down 30 but we've used 24 a few times to get to/through Ft. Wayne. Much less traffic and an easier drive than an interstate--and its a limited access highway to boot.

US30, The Lincoln Way, as it is known.
Not sure about a lot of campgrounds, but it too, is becoming built into an interstate. (The New Lincoln Way vs The old Lincoln way to what used to be 30).
There is Timber Woods in Van Wert getting near Indiana border.
Nice quiet spot, small, reasonable, good modern amenities.

Recommendation, at least we always go there.
Once west of Canton, Ohio, on rte30, watch for OH241 to OH93 south into Brewster.
Shearer's potato chip factory has a seconds store onsite.
Great deals if you want some road munchies, and you can't beat the prices, you just buy a larger quantity.
Within 8 miles of Rte 30.

Leman's Hardware in Kidron, 4 miles south of 30 on Kidron Road, about a mile west of OH94.

Then there is Smuckers outlet store about a mile north of 30 on OH57.

South of this area is big Amish country tourism, watch for buggies! Berlin, Walnut Creek.

A little further south, going east and west, is The National Road, US40, it is laden with antique shops, and whatnot.

Safe travels!
