If it make you feel better it rained last night. But it's fairly clear right now so were going to Disneyland and try to get on the new star wars ride that opens today

You've got to knew how to play the game in Disney...
Don't plan on doing anything... Just have fun watching everybody else run around like their hair is on fire! 
Get there early, and hit the popular rides right after the Park opens...

Well we got to Disneyland at 830, they open at 8, and Galaxys Edge was already sold out for the day. To get on the ride you have to down load the Disneyland App and reserve your "boarding group" The app tracks your location and you cant reserve the boarding group until youre inside the park. They have 80+boarding groups for the day, I don't know how many people per group, and if your boarding group is in the 80s they don't guarantee youll get on the ride. It all depends on how fast everyone goes. Its 530pm right now and groups 62-75 can get on.
So it looks like well have to go again soon and get there before opening. We have had are annual passes for years. Our normal routine is to go in the morning, ride a few rides, eat lunch, my wife then shops  , then go home. by 1-2 in starts to get really crowded so its time to leave.
We rode 6 rides, longest wait was 45 minutes for Millenium Falcom, had fried chicken for lunch, and of course the $100 for a pair of sandals and new Pandora charm. It was a good day there.

The classic thing is that this is about 40 miles from our home. It was warmer at the beach each day than it was at our home.
