Seattle-Bound in early May

Returning earlier than previous years to Seattle from DC; anyone out there have suggestions/cautions on routes? We usually use the northern route, via UP and across northern states, but late snow a few places might be an issue for our Thor, which is not at all good in high winds or (we're told) any snow whatsoever. Welcome any advice ---- you wont hurt our feelings.
Thanks

We will be Seattle bound from Florida in early March. Picking up our new ACE to take home to Alaska.

I’ll send feedback when able!

We are on a shorter timeline this trip, and I used the KOA free planner, and we just moved the map away from areas we wanted to avoid (Atlanta, all of NM, etc)

Should be a fun first motorhome experience. [emoji23]

You've made the trip before, so maybe a change of scenery wouldn't be such a bad thing.

You might be better off using a more southern route, and allowing for layovers to let storms blow through. March can deliver some nasty storms across the heartland. Keep an eye on the national weather map.

Especially at this time of year, I'd probably take I70 to Indy, I74 to Quad Cities, I80 to Iowa City, I380, US 20 across Iowa, I29 to I 90 the rest of the way.

That's about 3000 miles, an epic journey! Happy trails!
