Shakedown Trip

Hi All,

Just parked for the night. Shakedown trip for the new Hurricane 35M. Had an error on the leveling jacks but thanks to this site, I reset the system with the magic key sequence and all is well! Handling was a bit more intense than my previous Class C. Definitely want to look at Safe T Plus mod. Thanks all for the great tips and advice.

Jim

Congratulations, sounds like you're getting off to a good start! Doing the CHF will make a big improvement in how your coach handles.

Have a great time and stay safe!!!

Congrats and welcome to the forum.

Suggest you get an alignment, then CHF, before you do the Safety Steer. You may find you don't need SS. Some swear by SS, but many of us are fine without.

Update

Day 3 of the shakedown trip. Besides the leveling jack issue which was resolved thanks to this forum, the only other challenge was finding a shut off valve between the water tank and pump. It was buried under the bed and of course was closed. I was testing the on board water system and no water flowed until I found that valve. Otherwise, knock on wood, all systems functional. Oh, and I've only been to Walmart twice!
