Southern CA camping

Does anyone have recommendations for MH sites around the Palm Springs area?

Try this weblink:
Find Campgrounds, RV Parks, RV Resorts, State Park Campgrounds, National Park Campgrounds and National Forest Camping - CampingRoadTrip.com

Choose California and put in Palm Springs.

You could also try RV Park Reviews: RV Park Reviews - Trusted Reviews of Campgrounds & RV Parks
I've been using that site to pick campgrounds for a while now; as good as woodalls and crowdsourced.

Palms Springs in the summer? I see this post was in October, still a little warm then. but it will feel like your a quarter mile from the sun in the summer time. I have RV Parky app on my phone.

I absolutely agree! I visited in February, and it was 95˚F at noon.

There are some really nice RVResorts in town.

Keep in mind that if you have an older rig, they enforce the "5 years or newer" RV rule very strictly in the private resorts. And if your rig isn't a DP with at least a $600k original MSRP, you will get snooty stares, guaranteed.

However, it's a ghost town this time of year. Most, (snooty), folks won't return until next November as they have returned to their ranches after the Spring thaw. And the RVResorts will very likely relax any rule enforcement if they can get anyone to pay for a site during the 120˚F afternoons.

To the best of my knowledge Silent Valley is still a private membership
campground (it is in the mountains above Beaumont.

There is a VERY nice resort in Hemet called Golden Village RV Park that
we have stayed at with our old Orange County camping group and it is
very nice, 3 pools, 2 hot tubs, other activities.

If you are near Palm Springs, especially in the spring, do not miss Anza-Borrgo. The wildflowers are beautiful.
