Wondering if my NY or Canadian friends know of a great spot. Never been there . Bicycles only.

We stayed at the Thousand Islands KOA, very nice with water front sites.

We stayed at Ft. Drum, so no help with just bikes unless you want to rent a car. We were there last summer and loved it! Highly recommend the boat tour that takes you to the lighthouse and all around the islands. Very informative. Also, be sure to take in some local wineries. Do be aware that everything shuts down in early fall. Quite a shock for a Texan that's used to not coming out of hibernation (from the heat) until mid Sept.

We used to tent / pop up camp at Wellsley Island State Park years ago. One of my favorite places on Earth.. Not sure about RV camping facilities there and availability but if you can make it happen you won't be disappointed.
