Traveling HWY 2 MONTANA / North Dakota

Hi all, we are thinking of traveling through Montana and North Dakota VIA Highway 2 instead of Highway 90 this time. We are trying to stay As far north as possible to avoid heat and wind as we head west. And dealing with a 35’ pulling a toad. Sure would appreciate any insight to the highway and if it’s nice to drive or a wasting our time thank you very much
