Utah is a large, wide open state, many national parks, all of them are interesting and great to explore. Not too sure you can centrally locate in any one area and hit a lot of the national parks that way. It's like going to the Adirondacks in NYS, a very large area with tons of parks but still a distance apart.

Agree. It’s a really big state, so driving in toad to many parks from one location may not be practical.

Moab is a great location I like for a couple of National Parks located closer to northeast, but other parks like Zion is quite a distance away. I don’t rely on a toad, but can easily see wanting to move at least once or twice.

When possible we stay inside national parks like Zion. In Moab (just outside of Arches) there are various RV parks. We’ve stayed at one by the Colorado River a few times — would have to look up the name. It can handle large motorhomes.
