Moving to Kansas City, MO soon and need advice

Does anyone have any opinions on camp sites in Kansas City? We will be moving there in a few months and plan on staying in our Thor Vegas until we find a home. Also from what I have read, KC doesn't seem to like RVs parked in the yard so we will be needing RV storage once we find a home. Anyones thoughts on that would also be greatly appreciated.

Not sure how long you can stay there, and it is a little outside KC but Blue Springs Campground is really nice.

That's all I got: we've been to KC once to see a baseball game and stayed there.

There are some forum members very familiar with the KC area...I'm sure they will be around.

Thank you. Looks like it is in Lee’s Summit which isn’t to far out. Looks nice, I’ll keep that in mind.

My windshield covers came from here: RV Windshield Covers by Sunguard Shade Products
They are held on with velcro or snaps. You might also want to look into the magneshade covers as well they are a little easier to put up (https://magneshade.com/).

If you want to be in town, check out Campus RV Park. Untitled Document It'a at 500 W Pacific in Independence. We stayed there in the summer of 2016. Nothing fancy, but for us it was OK for a couple of nights.

There is a KOA east of KC on I 70 close to Grain Valley, I live North of KC between Liberty and Kearney, not really any RV parks here close by, well there is one in Liberty called Millers cam-park, not very big though.

Basswood Resort is up near the airport. We’ve stayed there several times.
