Washington State Questions

I will be at a park on Bainbridge Island and want to know about the Bainbridge-Seattle Ferry. Since I am towing a toad, I am wondering if I can use the ferry. I can't back up!

Also can US90, is there a recommended park near Moses Lake?

All the Seattle ferries I have been on were Ro-Ro. Since you are over 7', they will put you in the center isle with the tractor-trailers and earth moving equipment. Good old Moses Hole - home of Larson AFB (closed in 1966). One of the driest places in the world with a lake. Grant Muni recorded 7.38 inches of rain for the calendar year 2016. Suncrest RVP is the nicest but usually packed.

What does "Ro-Ro"mean? Roll on - roll off?

Presumably yes (Ro - Ro). You will be fine between Bainbridge and Seattle. The only places where you might need to back in is on the ferries between the small islands (San Juan - Orcas - Lopez). It's impressive to see a big truck with a double trailer backing into a tight row on a full ferry.

I'm towing a car. So I can't back up without breaking the tow bar. That is my concern. THANKS for the information!
