Got this tip from a professional detailer with over 35 years experience. Use either 0000 steel wool or bronze wool on a dry windshield, absolutely removes everything and does not scratch. Been using the steel wool for years now and don’t bother with anything else.

Awesome tip! I can't wait to try it. I've never had much success getting my glass totally clean.

Sorry, didn’t know there was a video! I guess this method has gotten popular over the years.

Sharing the road with bison in Yellowstone.

Didn't realize I take a lot of pictures through windshield.

I've been using Scotch Brite scrubbing pads for years on all of my windshields. Works great, pads last forever and don't scratch since they're plastic. Plus you can use it while doing your washing. Soap up windshield with sponge or cleaning brush, scrub , wrinse.. done.

Sorry we drifted off topic.

Looking for pictures taken through windshield during latest trip, I noticed they mostly fall in three categories: snow covered mountains, wildlife, and very small towns/villages.

I also love small towns, particularly out west, seemingly from a different era.
