pretty slick idea. I thought about it a long time ago but it was way down "the list"....haven't thought of it in a long time.

generally speaking...for the one you sold and the one you replaced it with...
how long does the battery last in those things (assuming 'average' use and not locking and unlocking hundreds of times per day)?

Does it engage the dead bolt as well as the latch lock?

Not sure about the batteries. Only the deadbolt is engaged electronically.
