I did not try ford, but I was going to send it to ford
Thanks for the answer. Anyone got Ford to pay?

Thor paid for my alignment. My coach has a sticker from Ford in the driver cockpit that says the chassis has been factory aligned and any aftermarket additions or modifications are the responsibility of the owner. That would include building a motorhome on the chassis.
When I purchased my rig I complained to the sales and service people (Camping World) about the handling. Everyone told me that there could not be any issue with the alignment and that I should learn how a class A handles.
When I called Thor and complained I was told to have the alignment checked and if there were any issues to send them the invoice and they would reimburse me which they did.

My 2016 Axis does not have that sticker (my 2014 Vegas did) and Ed Felker is right that the Warranty book says that Ford will do it in the first year or 12,000 miles. The Thor book says specifically that they will not - but apparently they have? There seems to be a disconnect and I am just wondering if anyone has tested the Ford Warranty successfully.

Our 2015 ACE 30.1 did not have such a sticker either and when bringing it home I was not real happy with the handling. When I called Thor I was told they would pay for the alignment if it was out of spec. Everything was within spec but just near the limits. I had this done at a local well known heavy truck center. They went ahead and adjusted toe into the middle of the range. This did help the handling but not as much as I would have liked. I also read somewhere that after 3,000 to 5,000 miles on the tires (GY) they get more stable. I did notice things seemed better after about 2,500 miles so maybe the tires or just getting used to our first MH. I do think about a rear track bar and may do that in the future. Jim.

The handling on those coaches is all relative to the chassis manufacturer, Ford, which is why we bought a fifth wheel, so I could have a choice of tow vehicle. I've driven Ford's for 30+ years at work & never had one that rode or handled good & would pass everything on the highway but a gas station. I wish GM or Dodge would get back in the chassis business so you could have choice.
