I want to add a dimmer to the cabin lights

Hey everyone, I would like to add a dimmer to the cabin lights. They are LED lamps and the tough part,at least for me, is they are on a 3 way switch. Can anyone offer any advice on what dimmer switch to use and how to wire it?

I researched this a while back. There are RV specific dimmers on the market, through ebay and other places.
I've seen dimmers that could be retrofitted into the fixtures if your handy
& I have seen propper looking switches like this one
Dimmer/On-Off Rocker Switch Assembly w/ Bezel White - $59.69

I have also read reports of folks that have experienced interference in tvs and such from them.

After researching, I ended up with a plan to change out the switches in the fixtures with DPDT switches, and install a dim bulb in one side and a bright bulb in the other.

But in the end found that DW's LED christmas light string that she likes so much, draped from the valance above our sofa and dinette gives just the right soft glow for evening TV watching and such..... so i hardwired a switch in for that and I think we're good! At least DW is happy.

Happy people make for a happy home even if it's on wheels and that's exactly what I'm trying to do with the dimmer. I looked at that switch and wasn't sure if it will work in the 3 way set up. I guess I could just have one switch work the house main lights.

I found this product on YouTube, it looks promising. I plan on converting to LEDs soon...
