2017 Thor Aria 3901 with Porcelain Flooring - How to Polish/Clean?

The Thor Aria's have beautiful porcelain tile flooring...but over time they do get faded and lightly scratched. Curious to see if anyone has any recommendations on how to properly clean, polish and maintain porcelain tile in an RV? Any advice is appreciated...and yes, I have Googled a bunch of articles on how to clean porcelain tile. But...looking to the RV experts before I use the methods recommended for homes.

Same question

Hi,

We have exactly the same question you have about this type of flooring. Have you been successful in polishing yours? We just got our motorhome a week ago so we are early in the quest.

Ron

"Bona Stone, Tile & Laminate Floor Polish". Not a cleaner but a great polish and sealer. Even fills in the micro scratches. A bit difficult to find but all the big box floor stores carry it such as Floor & Decor. I use it in both homes and very pleased. If you have pets they may slip and slide a bit.

Not successful yet...we have been keeping it clean with diluted Simple Green and some "elbow grease". I installed a dyson floor vac for quick clean-up of small rocks, etc. that could scratch the surface. But haven't had a successful solution for polishing/protecting the surface.

Thanks,
Hunter

Thank you for responding. I read about this product and it mentions that it is "For use on laminate flooring such as Pergo, unglazed ceramic tile, vinyl marble, and granite floors that are dull, scratched or show signs or wear"

We have an Aria coach. Does the Chateau have the same kind of tile? The tile in the Aria has a high gloss surface.

I wouldn't want to use the wrong product and take out the shine with it...

Chateau doesn't have "stone" type floor. I use that stuff on two houses. Look it up and read their recommendations. I don't think it would strip the floor...mostly just shine and seal them.

Probably do a small spot test where you can get some decent lighting (LED, etc.) reflecting off of it. I am going to try a few products during the holidays and will let this thread know how it goes.
