Refrigerator wont cool

Well,
Now the reason why I needed my slides to work. Refrigerator wont cool down.
I pulled the refrigerator out and the compressor wont run. Removed the start relay as per you tube, shake it, yep, it rattled. Capacitor tested good.
Amazon sell the combo for $20.00.
Will update repairs Tuesday when the part arrives.
This was simple to do.
Paid a six pack of beer to the neighbor kids, the lifted out the refrigerator. Will pay another six pack when they install it back in.
Sure beat having the maytag guy come do it.

I also hope the Compressor is OK , did you test the Motor Windings for grounds or an open winding ?

Are you talking about checking the compressor windings? Checking the pin outs on the compressor with ohms/continuity?

Yes , I have replaced many overloads & Starters , but if compressor windings are open or grounded , all the start components won't help , Compressors sometimes seize up also .

Check at the Compressor terminals .

Yeah,Amazon delivered my refrigerator relay……
Boooo. Cheap part will not pass bench test continuity.
I should know better. Trying to get out cheap.
Appliance shop, $79.00
Amazon $20.00
You get what you pay for.
Now waiting extra days because I tried the cheap route.

Check those Compressor Terminals to ground on a clean metal part of the Compressor & see if you get continuity to ground on any of them .

Did you test the new components on the Compressor to see if they work ?

Ok will test all three from compressor.
No I did not. Shake the new part, rattled same as the old one. Tested the continuity, all open. Cheap chia stuff.
