Access Engine Compartment on ACE 30.3

This is probably a really stupid question ... what can I say.

I'm having difficulty accessing the engine compartment on my new, to me, 2017 Thor ACE 30.3. I use the tool to turn the catches at the top and can tell that they are no longer locked. However, something is till sticking and I can't pull the "hood" down. I don't want to force it if there is something else holding it closed.

Is it that it is just tight and I need to use a screw driver to open it or is there something I'm missing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not a stupid question at all. If it hasn't been opened in some time, it is probably just stuck. The hinges make most Class A gas coaches come a bit forward, then down. On my coach, and the one before, both of those locks release with a quarter turn counterclockwise. Be vewwy careful trying to pry it open!

The door goes out, then up, not down. It is very easy to get it cocked so make sure you pull it out evenly.
