Slide-out leak

I have posted several times on here about my slide-out leaking on the lower rear corner of the outside molding. Caulked with lexel and it is still leaking. Also recaulked the exterior speaker. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have links to the

We need to know what we've already suggested that you haven't done.

I think the only solutions/replies were to caulk the moulding.

The water drains off of the roof, runs down the outside slide wall and hits the speaker and the molding at the bottom of the slide. With slide extended you can see water dripping on the inside surface of the outside molding. It also runs down the slide rail and into the R/V.

I did some more testing by pouring water on the slide out molding. The areas on the bottom were I had caulked weren't leaking. I climbed up on a ladder and poured water on the molding at the top corner piece. That's where it is leaking! I caulked the inside of the corner piece and will check it tomorrow.

Leak fixed!!! Water was coming off the slide out awning, hitting the inside surface of the molding corner piece at the top and leaking through the uncaulked seam, running down the inside of the vertical molding, down the slide rail at the bottom into the R/V. Hope this helps anybody else trying to track down a leak! Thanks to all for your input!

Leak not fixed! Got some rain last night and it's still leaking. Did some more caulking on the molding corner and will test tomorrow.

I (typ.) level my rig them tilt it (manual level mode) one bump or two so that the slide is the low side of the rig ...this will help redirect any water away from the interior seals.
hope this helps.

I thought about that but hate to leave the jacks down due to corrosion.

Has anyone used Flex Seal on the vent pipe, etc on their MH. I have a Mobile Home that I am using for storage. It started leaking around the vent pipes where the rubber bushing is and around the flange. Sprayed it down with Flex Seal, and stopped leak. Thinking about using it (clear) on the vents of my motor home.

Thanks for the suggestion. I want to find out where the leak is rather than just avoid the water coming in.

I may have solved the leak problem. The lag bolts holding the slide out awning bracket were loose. This allowed water to go behind the bracket and down the inside of the wall. Also, caulked the seams of the Eternabond tape on the roof and around the ladder brackets on the roof. Had 2 inches of rain yesterday and no water on the floor!!
