Wiring new tail lights

I recently acquired a 2016 Freedom Elite and noticed that the left backup light was not working. Inspection showed the bulb was fine but the electrodes were corroded to the point of not being functional.

I decided to replace the tail lights with Bargman LED fixtures. I have enlarged the opening to accommodate the new fixture on the left and temporarily connected the wires before drilling the holes for the screws to attach the fixture.

When I tested the lights, I have the tail lights functioning, the backup light functioning and the turn signal working, as long as the tail lights are not turned on. If I turn on the tail lights first, the turn signal does not work.

I wired the green wires to green, the black wires to black and connected the white ground wires. What could be going wrong?

The old lights were Command Elec. #300-30 and the new are the Bargman 5 function lights.

The parking brake lights work but again stop the turn signal from activating. Since the Bargman fixture brings the three ground wires (white) together and provides a single white for connecting to ground and the old fixture had three white ground wires, I've tried various combinations of the existing ground wires connected to the single ground provided on the new fixture but it seem to make any difference in functionality.

I'm lost here. Hate to use it without turn signals when I lose them as soon as the dash light switch activation cuts them out.

Suggest that you post before & after photos of the wiring
If I recall, when I swapped out from incandescent to
LED, I followed the wiring instructions specifically listed below.

If the old fixtures were incandescent and the new ones are LED, there might not be enough electrical draw to run things properly. You might need to put in some resisters in the line.

When you say don't work, do you mean don't turn on, or turn on and don't flash?

I meant that the lights in the new fixture would not blink.

However, since I posted, I discovered that the wire colors between the new fixtures and the original fixtures have been reversed by the manufacturer. The green wires from the camper needed to be connected to the black wires on the new fixture and the black wires from the camper needed to be connected to the green wires on the fixtures.

With that discovery, I have everything functioning as it should.
