2013 Freedom Elite 28Z awning issue

My electric awning did something odd when I attempted to unfurl it. The front end came out normally with good tension on the canvas, but at the aft end the fabric was unrolling loose and floppy. As soon as I saw what was happening I reversed it and in rolled up properly. Any ideas what could be wrong???

If you mean the arms did not extend as it unrolls? I have to clean/lube mine periodically. The arms get leaves, sticks, etc. I usually spray with good silicone.

If one side does it, just tug on it some. be careful not to get pinched.

You ar correct... I should have said "forward" and "Aft". It's the aft end of the roll with the floppiness.
