2014 37KT Generator issue

Hello,

We recently purchased a new 2014 37KT and are looking forward to using it soon. When we got the 37KT home in the driveway we plugged the RV into 30 amp shore power from the house. Everrything inside the RV is powered and looks normal. I noticed while plugged into shore power, the RV generator starts every 5 to 10 minutes, runs for about 30 seconds and then will shutdown. The inverter control inside the RV is off, I have shutdown the generator several times using the control in the dash. The RV is under warranty but I wanted to save a long trip to the dealer if I can. I suspect the problem may be an easy one to resolve, does anyone have suggestions on where the problem could be?

Thank you,

Mike McCormick

make sure the control panel by the bathroom is not on/enabled. The only time the genny should come on automatically is if the coached batteries are low for the fridge.
Check your battery disconnect swith by front door and make sure it's switched to use.

Thanks for the replies. The control panel near the bathroom is indeed OFF and I would think while on shore power the coach batteries would be charged/maintained. Once the weather gets a bit warmer I likely need to take a trip to the dealer.

The dealer should be able to solve the problem.
