2015 Thor ACE 30.2 single step repair

Curious if anyone else has found a easier fix than buying a new gear box. I found the only issue with mine , is the approximate 3.75 inch 60 tooth flat internal round gear with double flat shaft drive has three bad teeth. Only marking on gear is China …. Figures.
No luck finding said gear.
Not sure wether gearbox is Kiwi or lippert. No manual with Motor Home. Looks more like a Lippert design. I see several boxes on eBay, way cheaper than RV store or Amazon. Any suggestions? Hey money not the issue just wondering why such a big spread in pricing. Same holds true for the drive motor. Probably replace that too even though mine works fine. Originally had an intermittent run problem. Door magnets out of line. Now the dreaded step knock when retracting due to bad teeth. Sorry long winded. Thanks all. This forum is great.

I think Lippert bought Kwikee and Power Gear equipment lines in 2014 approx but best to verify what step series you have and verify this Amazon item is what you need first. The series number info might be under the step......really convenient.
