2015 Thor hurricane water tank

We are going on our first trip in our new(used) 2015 hurricane 34e. I want to sanatize the water system but can't seem to figure how to get the bleach water into the tank. Any thoughts?

Simply pour bleach into hose and turn on waster and fill the tank.

1/4 cup per 10 gallons. After filling the tank run each faucet to you smell bleach, let sit for a couple of hours. Empty tank, open each faucet until you have cleared out the bleach water, done.

Yes, and then you will probably want to run another tank of fresh water through the system to get rid of the bleach taste.

So do you use a short hose with a funnel?

Meant to add that and forgot, thanks!

Yes you can use a funnel to add the bleach and then Safe water drinking hose to fill the tank. I only put about 20 gallons in the tank when I do this. When I empty the bleach water I leave the drain open and add a little water to flush the tank, then close the drain and refill.

Leave the hose off at the RV end, so bleach can be added at the faucet end. A longer hose can hold more bleach. Connect hose to the faucet and the RV and fill tank.
