2015 Thor Vegas Ball Joints

I replaced the Michelon tires on the front of 2015 Thor Vegas 24.1 on Ford E-350 chassis. I took it to a Frame and Alignment shop just outside Lancaster PA to align the front end. They found the four ball joints were worn and loose.

I had them replace the four ball joints. After replacement the aligned the front and rear.. All together the bill came to $1500.

They replaced the ball joints with heavy duty Moog ones that also have grease fittings on them. The RV has 29,300 miles on it. The technician said th stock Ford ball joints are not really designed to handle the excess weight as a result of extending the frame and building the RV into the E-350 chassis.

Anyone else out have to replace the ball joints on their Axis/Vegas RVs?
