2015 Thor Vegas Lost Power

Hi all, first time taking my Thor Vegas across the country. Yesterday we noticed the co detector beeping as it was not getting enough power. An hour later everything lost power and the battery level dropped to E.

It now says the level is at 2/3 but still no power to anything. The 100 amp reset button on the battery control center isn’t tripped, same goes with the on next to the coach batteries.

All fuses are good, breakers and the gfci in the bathroom aren’t tripped.

What’s most concerning at the moment is the fridge won’t even run off LPG.

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

The fridge needs 12 VDC control power to run off propane - you don't have 12 VDC available.

Your battery level gauge is just a simple voltmeter - 4 LEDs - it does not measure battery voltage if you are plugged into SP.

Your Vegas is designed to charge from the converter if the USE/STORE switch is in USE (Where it should ALWAYS be unless storing the RV for over a week without SP connected) and you are plugged into SP.

Your Vegas is designed to charge from the engine's alternator regardless of the USE/STORE switch position.

The DC breaker that connects the house battery bank to the USE/STORE latching relay and DC buss is 50 amps, not 100 (unless changed by somebody).

How old are your batteries?
What is the water level in the batteries?
Do they charge when plugged into SP?

We'll start from here.

Interstate battery will check your batteries free and if needed install them
