Looking to purchase one for our Super C Omni till we can get it's new home built.
Who's do you like? Not looking for a cheap cover, want a good cover that will hold up.

Honestly I'd recommend a good wax job & skip the cover!
If you're in a windy area the cover can do damage chaffing the paint flapping in the wind. If windy the cover may not last an entire storage season before it's torn up, a bit expensive for 1 seasons use.
The biggest issue for me these days is wrestling it up a ladder, playing hopscotch around all the roof protrusions while unrolling it while 8-10' in the air, then do it all in reverse to remove it. Not to agile anymore & afraid of heights or rather the landing from the heights.
If you read other rv forums it's about 50-50 as to cover or not & a good many that have covered won't do it again.

It has a good wax job on it. Everything has it's pros and cons. But I still want to get a cover for it.

I had one from Elements, and thought it was very well-made...

...But the thought of an, "Impromptu Parasailing session" off the top of my RV got to me...

For one season and at a cost of $400-800...

The covers we had for our past units died in short time... The worry with our magnitude is scratching it up if small dirt or such gets into the cover... Our old unit was gel-coat so I did not worry then, could not see any imperfections on it anyway... but the Magn' is soooo beautiful...

I'm with Danny Texan on this one. When we purchased our used rig 3 years ago, it came with a fairly substantial and heavy cover. We pulled it out of it's bag at the end of that first season and checked it out.

We looked at the cover.....
We looked at the ladder....
We looked at the cover....
We looked at the AC/vents/TV antenna/radio antenna....
We looked at the cover....

And put the cover back in the bag. It's been in storage ever since.

I spent $$$ on my cover just to try and save the decals. Well that didn't work. Not the covers fault. So now that I removed the decals I'd give the cover away for anyone that wants to pick it up

I can put the cover on myself but it's a pain. Nice quality cover but it's heavy

Ours came with an ADCO cover (bought used). It is an evolution to get the cover off and on. Heavy, bulky and yes, you can go para sailing without much effort. We have protectors made out of foam pipe insulation to cover the rear camera, the corners of the ladder and any where else that might rub.

That's absolutely your choice!
The Omni is painted with high quality automotive paint with a clear coat, just like your vehicles, so it can withstand much more sitting outside with a good wax job than the lesser tinted fiberglass/filon/gelcoat motorhomes.
Good luck in your search for a quality cover & be very very careful installing it!

Thank you for all the responses, you all don't have much good to say about the covers

so maybe we will just forget about it. I have never needed a cover because are RV'S have always been indoors, but it's space in the barn is needed for something else now, so until the new building gets built hopefully this year we are just not going to worry about the cover.

We use an Adco cover well made IMHO. My grandson who is a scaffold builder by trade puts it on end of October and takes it off end of April. I think if I had to put it on and take it off myself these days it might stay in the storage bag

I’m in the “don’t bother” crowd. It’s a huge pain to put on and take off and , in my opinion, does you coach no favors anyway. Especially if you’ll be building a house for it. I’m jealous if that!!

I never get up on the roof! I fold the sides on to the top of the cover and then roll a rope (tied to end straps) in the cover from front to back. With a ladder I place the cover on the rear end of the roof and throw the balance of the rope over the front edge of the roof. I then pull the rope unfolding the cover from rear to front. I have a pole to help the cover over the a/c and such. Then I pull the sides down. Works pretty slick.

I agree with the consensus here. I had a cover that actually did more harm than good. If you’re just going to have exposed for one season, I wouldn’t bother with a cover. Just keep a good eye on you seams and caulking material.

I agree with the others. We did purchase a good cover from Natonal Covers but what a surprise when it was the time to remove it. We have a Class, full paint, wiith a Nano Ceramic coat, but the paint was scratched. And there is nothing you can do about it. After contacting National Covers they said that it was impossible. But it was. So if you still want to purchase one, make sure that you have a liner under the cover. Good luck!

I bought a cover last year for my ACE from Car Covers. It’s fairly light weight considering the size of the MH.it’s a single layer of rip stop material. It held up through a southwest Ohio winter without a problem. I didn’t notice any scratches on the paint. I think the trick is to make sure you pull the straps tight and I bungied the bottom of the cover to the frame. I’m happy with the cover so far but the company’s customer service is lacking. I contacted them twice about measurements and fit and never received a call back.
