2016 Axis Furnace

The heater will not start heating. Fan comes on when turn to heat but shuts off after a brief time. A/C controls work fine.

The propane is not being lit. Could be due to:
Empty propane
Propane turned off
Furnace propane solenoid valve bad
Air in the propane supply line
Ignitor bad
Sail switch bad
Spider webs in the flow tube
Bad circuit board

Use your furnace model number
Download the manual
Follow the troubleshooting section

Is this a new problem? Is this a "new to you" RV?

16ACE27 nailed the possible causes. BTW a "sail switch" is a vane in the furnace air supply that closes a switch when air flow is detected. A closed switch is necessary to allow the burner to light. Since it is a mechanical device, it is prone to sticking.

Maybe purge your propane line. If you ran empty and refilled, air in the line and furnace my kick off not getting propane.

After my rigs have sat for a few months the first thing I do is run the cook top burner to get the propne flowing.

Just an idea...
