2016 Axis Radio and and Chassis Battery?

Over the weekend, I was doing a few mods on my coach. I was listening to some tunes on the dash radio. I was plugged into shore power.

I tried turning on the radio...nada.

I tried turning on the coach...nada.

I know the chassis battery is drained. But why?

I was under the impression that the store button in the 2016 actually shut down all power in the coach...even the radio?

Is the radio in the 2016 Axis still connected to the chassis battery?

In my 27k the coach batteries power the radio, and even when shut off it draws some power. If you were plugged in when using it the coach batteries should be full.. am not sure why the chassis battery dead... did you leave the lights on?

Thanks Pete. I think I finally got it figured out. There is so much to learn with RVs...

According to Thor, the radio isn't connected to the chassis battery. However, only the radio's present/memory is connected to the chassis battery.

The rsdio's clock is also powered by the chassis battery. To prove it, turn on radio and note time. Turn off radio and then position the Use/Store to Store. You just disconnected the coach battery. Try to turn on radio. It won't come on. Wait a few minutes and put the Use/Store in USE. Coach battery is now connected. Turn on radio. Look at the time on the clock. It never lost a minute or reset to 12:00.

Thank you Ed. These RV's can be very idiosyncratic.

Both our radios are powered off the house batteries and for some reason if you pull the fuse marked radio/av the awning doesn't work.
