Rapid Camp

Hearing other people on this Forum talk about Rapid Camp I became aware that it should include the leveling jacks. Mine did not. I called Thor and they sent me the instructions on programming that feature. But before programming it I called my dealer. They told me not to do it. They said it is NOT programmed on purpose. That aspect of Rapid Camp has been linked to problems with the Rapid Camp system. He explained it would lock out the ignition preventing any features of the Rapid Camp from working at all or maybe even short out the board. So I decided to leave well enough alone.

When we ordered our 2018 Miramar 35.3, I was disappointed to see that the rapid camp had been dropped. Apparently some of them have been troublesome. The 2018 Miramars switched to the firefly Multiplex system.

use my Rapid Camp first time blew fuses fixed fuses used again blew fuse for slide the problem with it if you turn on light with it you can only turn light off with it no switch in coach if you use it to slide out slide you can only retract slide with it not button in coach now in drawer best thing Thor did is discontinue, they are coming put with a new brand

I have had no problems with mine. I only used it for the slides if near trees. You have to have the engine running to use the levelers and off to do the slides so it didn't seem all that handy anyway. I have ordered Snap Pads...I thought it would be useful to operate while aligning them under the jacks. Guess the DW will have to help.
