2017 Miramar rear bathroom Emergency Window, window latch

I have a 37.1 Miramar 2017. The rear bathroom emergency window, has the two red latches, but nothing attached to the window. Can someone send me pictures of what the latches or bar is attached to the WINDOW.

Thank you

Welcome to the forum.

May not be anything attached. Most exit windows are designed to be opened and then fall to the ground allowing someone to exit without the window getting in the way.

Thanks. What keeps the window for floppy in the wind driving down the road. I am thinking something must be attached to the window to keep it closed, until you open the red latches. It’s a seamless window.

The red latches should keep it closed until they are released/opened. The windows should not be flapping in the breeze with the latches closed. Post a picture of the red latches and the window and we can verify what I am stating.

Thank. I must be missing the pc that the red latches attach too. If you don’t mind can you send a couple pics of the pc or section the red latches attach too.

Thank you so much. I will have to have something made.

So are you saying that when the red piece is closed the window still opens?

You might check with Hehr since they are the window manufacturer

I see now. You are missing the 2' piece of aluminum that is attached to the inside of the glass that the latch grabs on to. You will need to contact window manufacturer. Good luck with itClick image for larger version
