Exclamation awning lights secret fuse

While working on "The Nest" today I found a secret fuse for the awning LED lights. Ours has a water proof red fuse holder located behind the the 3 rocker switches for the awning, porch, and inside lights. Hand written on the holder it says 2 amp but actually had a 3 amp.

Did you access that switch group through a false wall on the inside of the lower kitchen cabinet? Or did you remove the switch group from the outside of the cabinet (and if so how did the switch group pop off)?

Two screws under the trim and the 3 switch assy comes off the cabinet.

Have replaced this fuse once already, it appeared the lack of cover/sealant at the LED strip connector located at the awning top forward edge allowed water to contact both the pins, since sealing this connector I have not had another fuse pop. The connector sits inside a hole in the roller but was not sealed to the weather.

What type of fuse is it? I am guessing they are the same on all the Thor products.

Did you use just regular silicone sealant for this?

Thanks for the information...

Haven't been "brave" enough to try and remove those switches yet...

Mo-Mike don't be scare is very easy just get a small flat screw and pull off the front panel, then you will see 3 screws that is it unscrew them you will see the fuse holder but in my case the fuse is ok i'm just not getting voltage to the fuse looking to see if anybody knows if there is some more fuses down the line

I am not familiar with the 2015 Hurricane layout specifics, but in my 2013 ACE the 15 amp DC awning fuse is located in the DC fuse panel at the base of the bed.

Does your awning work? If no, then it is possible that the main awning fuse has blown and your 2-3 amp awning LED fuse is simply powered off the main awning feeder fuse. If that is not the problem then I would suspect the awning LED fuse must be multipled from some other close by DC power source and perhaps that connection has failed open. Might try to trace the LED fuse wire to see where it is coming from, if you can.......at least until someone with more specifics can respond.
