Harmsy here still looking for perfection!...

Newer issue:...creaking and cracking noise at the dome light area...with the bed up or down it creaks and cracks really bad and is exacerbated by poor roads...I've lubed the long bed hinge but to no avail...thoughts?

This topic has been read 54 times and attracted no input…so my guess is that not many of you have the single adult over cab bed layout?...the noise is definitely above the dome light area deep in the overhead bed construction and more on the passenger side than the drivers side…we liked the setup of the small overhead bed as we have 2 grandchildren that will hopefully fit up there…��...
…but, the noise is always there and very bad at times…the CA roads/freeways shook us silly…��...I assume that the construction of this frame behind the scenes is going to be predominantly wood?…so anyway, next time I am parked I will disassemble the bed frame and see what I see…
Got any input for me in advance of what I see?...cheers all!

No responses because it's not a usual problem. If in the bed construction might ask Thor about access. You can also remove the Dome light if you think it's between the headliner and the van cab roof. Good luck
