Decal Edge Cleaning

Noticing that there is some dirt buildup on the edges of the exterior decals (most noticeably on the lighter ones).

Any suggestions on technique and/or products to safely clean these edges without damaging the decals?

I too hope for an answer to this problem. After my RV "stayed at home" (did not evacuate) for one of our hurricanes, I noticed the dirt blown into the edges of the decals.

After I wax my coach, yeah that part sux... I use a soft bristled tooth brush to clean the decal edges. I just clean it really good when I’m done so my gf can’t taste the wax. [emoji23]
If the dirt is behind the decal edge in the adhesive. There’s no cleaning that.

Alcohol (spiced rum preferably) on a Q-tip works well for removing dirt/wax from decals and crevasses. WD-40 will also help make black plastic/rubber look fresh again.
