2019 Chateau Furnace issue

Just got our first Class C camper after many years of pull campers. Need some help reference the furnace. We used it two days ago and it did fine. All went well and turned off with no problem. The issue is while I have the thermostat off and propane off a blower keeps coming on in and around where the furnace is. Should I turn the Maine switch off at the furnace??
Gary

This is a typical problem when the control board gets wet - the blower may run when not called for. Normally you would NOT turn off the switch at the furnace as that removes 12 VDC power from your thermostat disabling any Air Conditioning functions as well.

It's not the main blower that throws out air into camper but like a small blower at the furnace itself to clear out last gasses. At least that's what I think. Thanks for the reply.

No such thing, but the blower may be running at reduced speed.

Ok, will open furnace door and wait till this sound comes back on again to narrow it down. More to follow, thanks.

Try just letting the control board for a while. Maybe just wait a day if it’s not raining. If it begins to work properly again you’ll just need to take steps to keep it from getting wet again.

Will try that, the funny thing is it hasn't seen rain or water in a week.

Is your 120 volt panel/converter near this furnace. Converter has a cooling motor and the fan will run while charging the battery.

That's a good question, I think it's under the bed but will check tomorrow.

Well if a wet control board is not the culprit and you find it's not the converter fan running could it be the water pump cycling?

The water pump is used when NOT hooked up to water.

Ok the 12v pump? The dealer did winterize the Coach before we purchased due to we were heading north. Not sure where that pump is located but will research. Thanks.

I found the blower that keeps coming on and off while coach is just charging. The left to right slit that you see in the photo shows a motor with shaft going into the exhaust tube. When motor is running, air is blowing out of the tube. It just comes on about every 15m or so.
The thermostat is all off and propane is off.
Any ideas again why this happens? It's not the water pump for sure.

Looks like a cooling fan for your Converter or Inverter and that is normal

The problem with that is that's not the inverter. The picture is taken outside looking into the furnace. The pipe it blows out of is the furnace exhaust pipe. Thanks.

That is not the furnace; that is your Tankless Water Heater. Is it turned off?
I have no experience with those but I suspect that fan is there to exhaust any residual propane after a failed lighting attempt.

Now I understand, I did turn it off just so it wouldn't keep coming on. Don't know anything about these or why it would keep clearing out. The unit has been winterized also. Will read up on the tankless water heater. Thanks.
