Bulb seals and slide-out adjustments?

The bottom of my slide seems like it isn't pulling tight against the body of the coach and it isn't really compressing the full length bulb seal along the bottom of the slide. Two questions for y'all.

1. Is bulb-seal replacement a normal maintenance item?

2. Is there a way to test to see if the slide-out is retracting all the way at the bottom or adjust the amount it pulls in?

When you retract the slide: the best you can do, is to hold the retract button down for 3 to 5 seconds after things stop moving.
It'll keep both motors synced: there is no other adjustment available.

Me too.
Example...
Next to a highway with the slide in
The only noise I hear is from the upper cavity of the slide
Now after checking it...

Here’s why...there’s no rubber bulb-seal
That can’t be right, can it???
The “top bulb-seal Thor guy” went on break and never returned to finish the job

So now I gotta get one

It’s 3/4 diameter and the T is 3/16”

I guess you could disengage the slide motors and push the slide in until the bulb seal flattens. Then re-engage the motors.

That thought occurred to me but it seems pretty risking. Plus, on a 34J the slide must weigh a metric ton, not sure how I'd push it in.

Invite 30 of your most muscular friends over, and tell them you have an interesting halftime exercise for them.

My dealer had those seals in stock, sold by the foot.

Make sure the seals don't over lap at the corners.

Could you post a few pictures of the closed slide, both ends top and bottom.
Get a good angle so we can see the gap.
