2019 Thor ACE countertop separation

Has anyone else experienced this with their countertop? There was a gap when I bought the RV in January and it appears to be getting wider. Mentioned this to the dealer a few months ago, but they said that there was nothing that they could do. Seems like a replacement countertop would be in order as the unit is still under warranty. Interested in whether this is a common issue.

I think you'll find that edge material is a rubbery plastic and when it shrinks it comes out like that. Same issue on table edges. Under warranty? - Yeah it should be fixed. If the dealer is balking call Thor directly.

I have fixed this issue before with a heat gun, a custom clamp, some epoxy and some patience.

I’d try to fix it on a very hot day with maybe an added amount of heat from a heat gun. Use a small sand bag (like an exercise ankle weight) and a clamp with epoxy or gorilla glue and maybe a staple from underneath if you can.

Does anyone have a source for the edge banding for these countertops?

You'll be surprised how inexpensive and easy to make a nice butcher block counter top.
Ikea used to have the best and least expensive maple blanks.
I think they were under $60.
