2020 Thor Delano coax cable from outside coach to inside not working

Have new portable Dish TV Tailgater satellite and Wally receiver that works good when using the Dish coax cable direct from dish to receiver. Having to run the cable through the coach door is good only for setup. When I try to hook up to outside port on my Delano no signal gets through. Just like it is not connected. I have heard others report similar problems. Is there some fix to this aside from driving 180 miles round trip to the dealer?

The simplest way to isolate the issue:

#1 find the cable splitter. Usually hidden in or behind cabinets

#2 connect Wally directly to the main incoming cable line to see if that works. If you still don’t get a signal, it may be that the Thor RG6 cable isn’t up to spec for your Tailgater

A fix is to create a new external connection port thru the outside wall nearest to where you desire to have your Wally.
Then run a short RG6 cable to the Wally

Don't know your coach details, but this may work with a few parts and some elbow grease if you have the basic off air antenna amp/splitter system.

The external "Cable" connection is not a "Satellite" connection and will not work for satellite without modification as provided by Javelin.

It may be a little late since your post but I have the same rig. The compartment above the fridge contains the hdmi splitter as well as a coax wall plate, no coax connected but there is a small on/off button that will light up green when on. To use the external coax connector which is in my wet bay I have to toggle it off or on, I can’t remember but it goes to the wineguard antennae for local digital reception with no cable. I was paying for sites with cable but couldn’t get it to work my first couple of trips until I decided to push the little button then viola, working.

If, n fact, you do have a Winegard, you have to turn that switch off (no light). When it is on, the coax connector is routed to the Winegard OTA antenna. When off, it is routed to the outside coax connector.
