Missing Trim Piece

Missing trim piece on Thor Chateau on the box directly behind passenger door. Guess it's off to the Thor Dealer Monday morning.

It’s a simple but time consuming process.

Easiest is to drive to dealer, identify the specific part in question, and have them look it up on their Thor schematic.
You will probably need to physically show someone in the service Dept.

Get part number then call several low cost dealers if you’re not happy with the quote.

I use for mail order parts:
Lazy Days/Total Value RV
Elkhart, IN
866-282-4460

They work directly with the Thor facility, and can ship your parts quickly.

Thanks for the info!

I put a new T on the propane and that's the only way I saw it.

Check inside trim

Hi
We have similar problem. The trim fell off due to wood rot. When I crawled under I noticed the trim is missing on the inner vertical edge of both sides (passenger/driver) of the wall. It isn’t visible from the outside. The entire lower 14 inches of the wing walls are rotted due to water exposure. Hope yours isn’t as bad. It’s obvious that Thor didn’t put the edging in these locations.

Stopped by the "Authorized" Parts dealer.

You have to buy the trim piece in 10' sections at $10 a foot.

Then, pay freight on it at the tune of about $100.

Sounds like a trip to the hardware store and I'll make them myself.

It’s just a piece of aluminum, we lost ours oh the road a couple of years ago and didn’t have anything to fix it with in the rain except for some eternabond. Just wrapped it around and it’s been fine for about 3 years.
