Jacks dropping while in storage
So we had a nice day yesterday and I decided to give the rv a wash. Its been in storage for almost 2 months now. When I was pulling the blocks I noticed the jacks were down. Is it normal for them to drop on their own. I would think this means there is a leak somewhere. Its an lci system in our 2020 29m.

If you don't see any fluid on the floor then you have a solenoid valve leaking

It should be under warranty since it is a 2020 model.

It is, but if its something simple I would rather just fix it instead of losing it for 2 months while it sits in the service lot.

If all 4 jacks are dropping at a similar rate and no leaks are visible follow your hydraulic lines and find the common two solenoids
You have to have one leaking allowing fluid back to the reservoir and one allowing fluid to fill the jacks
Try a quart of marvel mystery oil or fork oil first by adding it to the reservoir. Then manually lower and raise the jacks side to side, front to back, and repeat at least 4 times. ( make sure you add the extra oil when the jacks are up)
Let it sit and see if they still drop

Verify the manual override valve is fully closed.
When my ACE 32.1 jacks drooped I just turned on the system, hit retract until jacks down light went out and pump stopped, then turned off system.

This is what I have been doing. It takes a long time for them to drop, like 3 weeks.

I looked today at the pump and I couldnt find any leaks. It was wet under the rv so I will check at each of the jacks next time its dry under there.

I had the same problem. When I took my unit in for warranty work the technician told me he added Sea Form to my hydraulic oil reservoir. It worked. Ensure you obtain a copy of the warranty work order to show you had your coach in for warranty work if it does not repair the problem

I've never heard of adding Seafoam. Lippert recommends removing a quart of fluid from the reservoir and adding a quart of motorcycle fork oil or Caterpillar hydraulic oil additive.
Usually this is for popping on extended jacks.
A couple of my jacks will drift down over a period of time but the system will raise them as soon as the ignition is switched on.
A link to recommended oils that might help.

See the 7th response in the attached. Highly reputable dealer recommended Sea Form. I have not had no issues since

Mine does this too, I can raise them and they stay up during travel. I just didn't think they should drift down no matter how long it sat.

This is what is added: It is made by SeaFoam but it's not the standard SeaFoam you are thinking of.
