24F Toilet Seal

All, our toilet in our new 24F has a slight leak evidenced by some water leaking out where the toilet meets the floor that it sits on. I did get a drainage plumbing schematic and the flange under the toilet looks just like what I have in my home toilet. I am now wondering if the unit uses a "wax ring" seal like my home toilet and perhaps it is damaged/missing. Can someone confirm that a wax ring (or similar seal) is used in this application?
TIA

My 24F had a small leak as well. I removed the Thetford toilet and noticed debris between the closet flange and the flange seal. Thetford uses a flange seal, kinda a big rubber gasket, versus a wax seal like a home toilet. The Thetford website shows this on the toilet parts list and installation directions.
