removed fridge

Fridge went belly up, so decided to buy something that fits in the spot. I need to plug off these two in the picture, one is gas, one is water. Do I use teflon tape when I do that? Thank You

PTFE tape on the threads of the blanking plugs.

White for water, yellow or pink for the gas.

Make sure to leak test the gas connection after sealing to confirm no leaks.

That is female flare fitting. It needs no thread tape or sealant. Screw a male plug in, a 3/8” flare I think, tighten and soap bubble test.
