28Z 50 amp breaker location

Hi,
I was adding a second house battery and arced my existing battery blowing the 70 amp breaker. I have been dealing with customer service and received a diagram of where it sould be but cannot find it. I have been all over under the coach looking for it. Does anyone know where it is located please? Sorry, I said 50, I meant 70. the breaker for the house batteries

Thank you

Thank you, but it is not in the battery box. My 28Z is a 2018, if that makes any difference.

When the house batteries are under the steps, the CB for the cable going to the Power Center is attached to the inside, side of the chassis frame behind the steps

Follow the positive cables from the battery. One has to go to the breaker. You may need to get under the RV.

Thank you for the post. I have spent the better part of 2 hours under that rig with no luck. The factory diagram shows it to be a 4' cable from the power stud to the CB. However, after about 2' from the power stud it gets jacketed with several other wires and goes up under a metal plate, never to be seen again.

This is tough. Why can't a person just call the factory and talk to someone who actually installs these or over sees the people that do?? Customer service people are polite but they don't know.

To be a Thor MC CSR you had on one of the Thor MC productions for a minimum of 2 years. At least that was before CV-19. Of course if a person worked in plant 250 (there are 4 models and 22 floor plans) and is asked a question about a plant 850 coach (9 models and 38 floor plans) they can only look at the computer for an answer. That is why a email works better, as it is passed around until some that has worked at that plant comes on duty and can give an educated guess. Remember plant 750 turns out the majority of class A coaches and plant 350 is the big producer of class C coaches. Of course with the expansion of plants 150, 650 and 750 (the old Four Winds plants) the mix has changed .

I cannot understand why you think you "blew a breaker" when you can't find it. What has no power, everything DC? If you shorted a battery, that is the source of your power, nothing downstream should 'blow', unless the two 40A (?) fuses in the DC fuse side of you breaker box blew.... But that just disables the converter from connecting, you should still have DC... so I am confused.

Try this link, they discuss a couple of possibilities on fuse/breaker locations.

I have a 2014 28Z there is a 50-amp breaker mounted behind the vanity panel next to the sink in the bathroom.
It's the button type.
Hope this helps.

Yep. On My 2014 also. On the 2018 it was located behind the breaker panel box. Small button on either the side or end if the little box.
