Oh yeah I guess could do that. Our house has outside plugs but since they are all GFI if they trip they either turn everything off in the garage or in the kitchen. Grateful they work but usually it’s me discovering when the freezer is off that something happened.

In my county, if you are zoned residential you cannot have an RV or boat sitting in the front or side of your house. I am on 2.5 acres of land zoned agricultural and have no problems. My neighbor across the road has to have his boat and TT stored at a lot down the road.

If spending the $$ anyway put in the 20/30/50 amp box & depending where the RV parks there's one that has a switched light fixture which could come in handy.
Unless you're 100% sure that the DW, or you, will never want a bigger 50 amp RV then go at minimum with the 30, why not go big.
As for using the Walmart puck adapters, spend the couple extra bucks for the dogbone adapter, I can't tell how many of those pucks I've had/seen melted running down the pedestal, I'll never own another.

Someone said go with the 15/20 as you didn't live it. I put in 50 amp for ours next to my shop & our grandkids enjoyed driveway camping when they came to visit & it made a great guest room when needed also.

I've got both: the dog-bone, and the puck...
While I'm sure that the dog-bone can absorb and shed more heat: I've never felt a difference in how hot wither of them get.
(But I'm probably not putting a large load of them...)

GTM said "better resale"; you said "resale value". There is difference. i.e. installing a storage shed on your property may help to resale, but it may not bring more resale value. Similar goes for painting the house, or similar modest upgrades. In fact not sure of many $500 - $1,000 investments that bring more resale value, but they will almost certainly make for better resale. People tend to like stuff that has been done, they feel like they getting more for less. In fact, they are getting more; so having his option would help for better resale. Doubt very seriously anybody who would buy the house would rip it out; unless it was ONLY 30 amp and they wanted or needed 50 amp.

The is no 15/20. What I said was put in a 30 it is cheaper and will do all you
want. 50 is not required if your not living in it. 30 will make a good A/C'd bathroom. Wife and I live in a 32' trailer 4 months a year on 30 amps.

At home you do not need the full 50 amps unless someone is living in at and using all the electric side of things. Put the WH on gas, fridge on gas. If your not living init you do not need 2 A/C's.

Yes 50 amp service cost more than 30 amp service, but how much more and is it relevant in the grand-scheme of things? My brother was quoted for 30 amp service off the back wall of his garage for his 30 amp Sprinter. When I gave him this lecture a year ago; he had the electrician re-quote and the electrician actually did the install for the same price!!! He may have paid $80 more for the 20/30/50 subpanel. In his case wiring was basically negligible because the subpanel happened to be on outside wall just opposite of main circuit panel. I wired my own, but I had to pay about $100 more for wiring, so it was still under $200.

I have 50 amp coach, but if I can pick the months, I can go 4 months with just the 20 amp service and not have a problem. Of course this time of the year, I have to have to have 50 amps to run both ACs at full blast.

Now get this, on occasion, I am at my brothers house and he will allow me to hook into his 50 amps service It is just convenience, not that you should have to do.

Reminds me when some drunk knocked over our brick mailbox, I kicked in extra $60 more out of pocket and got a very nice oversized mailbox versus the standard size mailbox that I had had for years. I had no idea I really needed it, but I can't tell you how many times I have US postal packages safely inside my mailbox (hidden) versus sitting on my front door now.
