Unless you are wiring something well over 50' the extra cost for upgrading wiring can't be more than $50 - $75!!! The 50/30/20 box over 30 amp box may be $75 more, so we talking $200 as guess as difference.

I can get and accept someone that my conclude they only need 30 amp, but if they tell me they will do for money, I will argue with them all day.

FWIW the fact that you plan to use conduit suggest money is not a factor over doing what you think is right, so a 50/30/20 is the way to go. My coach can be plugged in the 50 or 30, and I can still use the 20 for other things.

Don't forget the adjoining weather proof air conditioned enclosure to match the house that allow all slides outs, ventilation for engine / generator, with its own restroom, and a mini RV office to store all of your paperwork documents and supplies.

Give them a choice. Tap into theirs or run it on top of the ground?
Might not be a great choice, but you gave them one.
Right Bob?

Since by Chance we are allowed to spend other peeps money I am issuing an Executive order that all RV owners that desire shore power at home must acquire the below.

So; yes it may be up to $200 more, but that is just one tank of gas for an RV!!!

And guess what... let's say you only have 30 amp coach, but if something goes wrong with your 30 amp plug, with this thing you simply switch to the 50 amp plug. I have 50 amp coach and depending what I am doing and weather, I use the 20 amp, 30 amp and 50 amp to supply the coach. If for no other reason I get practice on calibrating what I can and cannot do when on the road with less than 50 amps.

Often electricians make the mistake of wiring like a dryer with 220 volts which will cause much smoke, fire, sparks, and destruction.

do not install a GFI breaker. It is not required by the NEC and will give you nothing but trouble.

Doghouse

Summertime is hot here , during remodel ,DW , two Brussels Griffons and I moved in to MH. I was glad to have 50. AC was definitely needed. Both of them. Sometimes just to take a break and get out of contractors way.and have a cold one.🥴

You know in some parts of the country some houses don't even have AC Some folks can get by with 1 AC and 30amp service wth no complaining to add a 2nd AC is there proof. But 2 ACs is absolute must for us in Texas during the summer. But I have 2 dog bones 24/7 as I may only have 20 or 30 amp service available. I also alternate the front & back AC's when I only need one. They are both ducted so if I am in the front, therear AC is on, or vice versa if I need one when sleeping.
