32A Hurricane won't start

So just went on 1st trip with our "new to us" 2013 Thor hurricane 32A. Trip from NY to AZ went great no issues. However, when we were coming back after stopping for gas 1st time and shutting off RV it wouldn't restart. After playing with chassis connect/disconnect switch and shifting from park to neutral a few times it started after around 10 attempts. We decided to keep it running for our remaining fuel stops. However when we stayed over night somewhere and had to turn off the engine the next day it would take 20-30 turns of the key for it to start. I had all the lights I on the dash come on like normal batteries looked good, etc. Does anyone have any ideas?? I am thinking maybe starter solenoid? Or possibly something with the chassis battery disconnect switch.

When it finally does turn over it turns over just fine. It just takes tons of attempts to turn the key to start it.

I would first check and clean all the battery connections to include ground. Sounds like you might have a loose or corroded cable connection and that could be downstream from the battery.

There have been reports of problems with loose connectors to the ignition switch in your time period F53 chassis. Might want to check those out.

I agree. Sounds like an ignition switch issue, either loose wires or a defective switch assy.

We had a bad starter on our 2012 SOB, spent the night at a Walmart gas station started next morning, tried at another Walmart (NOT AT A GAS PUMP) that night, wouldn't even click. Waited an hour and retried , start next morning. Started a few days later to take it to Ford...fixed .
