34.2 Miramar Outdoor Kitchen Door

Any Miramar 34.2er’s out there who get water from storms that fill inside the door and when you open it water gushes out of the door latch? I’m going on my second door within a year. Thanks!

You probably need to adjust the two catches for the door. On the coach there are two "U" shaped catches for the latches. The catches are held into position by two jam nuts. Just move these catches in about 1/2" and that should tighten up the door seal. If your coach is like mine, then all the basement door catches need adjustment also. This is required as the basement's door seals take a set after about 6 months.

We had the same problem, re-adjusted the door and drilled small holes in the bottom as a precaution.

Thanks for the input all! I will do the re-adjustment and see if that does it, holes may come later.

Holes are needed. Sueandmike, how many holes did you drill and what size bit did you use? Thanks!

2 small holes on each corner. That and adjusting the door so the top part doesn’t catch the rain, no more problems.
