4008-101-a65 replacement

Hi all,

I bought a spare pump 3 years ago New in the box (4008-101-a65). My main pump in my 2020 plazzo has a crack in the pump head and is leaking.Do you think it's safe to use that new pump that's been sitting in the box for 3 years or should I buy a brand new one?

Just wondering thoughts on a pump that has sat in a box if seals or anything would be an issue / dried out.

Thanks
Dover

First welcome to the forum.

What kind of pump? Fuel pump, water pump, generator fuel pump?

If easy access give it a try and see if it leaks. 3 years in a box would be iffy depending on how packaged and storage conditions.
