Texas to Fishing Bridge

We are going from Texas to Fishing Bridge in late August. Does anyone have input as to routes, stops on the way etc?

We plan to take 4-5 days and enjoy stops on the way,

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Bet you'll get some responses if you are more specific. Texas is a big area, 733 miles East to West. Just where are you starting in that big state? And where is Fishing Bridge?
