Fraying at Base of Cabinets/Help

Help, I have a Freedom Elite, which I rent out. At the base of the cabinets, the cabinets are fraying, the paper is either torn or ripped. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix that. I took it in to LazyDayz, and after them having it for over 2.5 months, no phone calls, I went to pickup, expecting the base of cabinets to be beautiful & fixed, and they still looked like crap. I asked the Service Manager, why? and he stated there was nothing they could do, I would have to get new cabinets? then proceeded to charge me $97.50 for that advice. Does that sound crazy. Well you can guess what I told him. There has to be a great idea out there that I can install that will protect those corners from feet scuffing them. Can anyone share what they have done? TIA.

Welcome to the forum. I am assuming the damage to the paper covering on the base cupboards is less than 4” up from the floor. Maybe a pet chewing or kick space shoe/boot damage? It is probably impossible to easily find a matching mactac pattern to recover the damaged area(s). You could try a self stick vinyl floor base off Amazon (or from a local Walmart) to both cover/hide the damaged area(s) and help protect the area from future damage. You would likely need enough to extend along the entire based cupboard length to make it look good. Not sure how well this stuff will work on outside or inside corners though? Just a suggestion.
